Metal Roof Restoration Process

Stage 1: Full roof clean and preparation.

More than you think happens on your roof! We get up there and remove loose debris, bird droppings, leaves and twigs and then use a specialised high-pressure washer to clean off any lichen, fungi, and moss.

Stage 2: Apply roof sealer and undercoat.

Next, we apply Dulux® Acratex Roof Sealer® which creates the ideal base to which the undercoat will adhere. The sealer has to cure for two days, and then we apply the undercoat.

Stage 3: Apply membrane.

We use Dulux® 962 Roof Membrane which is a tough, water-based acrylic product, specially formulated not to contaminate run-off water that is used for drinking. It’s UV-resistant, so it protects your roof from harsh sunlight and temperatures, and resists fading. It can be used on metal, concrete and terracotta tile roofs.

Stage 4: Apply topcoat.

At this final stage, we use Dulux® 962 Roof Membrane as the topcoat in your choice of colour. As it is 3x thicker than any of its competitors’ products, you can be sure of long-lasting results with no maintenance required for decades.
