AcraTex 962 Roof Membrane is a water-based protective membrane for your roof that’s 3 times thicker than any of its competitors’ products. It’s UV-resistant, drinking water safe, and resists pollution and minimises dirt retention. Suitable for both tiled and metal roofs, two coats are provided with a protection equivalent to 93cm of concrete cover!

Tile Roof Restoration Process

Depending on what kind of roof you have, the process will be slightly different. Roof restoration takes just two to three days on average.

Day One

Step 1: Full roof clean and preparation.

Preparing and cleaning the roof is critical for revealing any otherwise hidden defects that need to be addressed. We use high-pressure water blasting and apply an industrial strength anti-mould treatment.

Day Two

Step 2: Repair any damage to roof.

Depending on your roof, this could mean repairing or replacing cracked or broken tiles, or damaged metal sheets. We also replace damaged ridge caps.

Step 3: Pointing and bedding of ridge caps.

This stage is important to seal your roof where it may be vulnerable to leaks.

Day Three

Step 4: Install Dulux Atex Roof Primer to the whole roof.

It’s necessary to prime the surface with Dulux Roof Sealer so that the Membrane adheres efficiently.

Step 5: Install 2 coats of Dulux Roof Membrane in the colour of your choice.

This state-of-the-art product can even be applied to aged and pitted concrete roof tiles. It provides maximum protection and will extend the life of your roof by many years.
